Year 5: Get Ahead.
This course has been designed by our expert tutors to prepare students effectively for 11+ examinations held at the beginning of Year 6.
For students having done the Year 4 course, this course puts all of the hard work put in over the last two years together to perfect exam technique ready for the exams. It stretches their abilities in Maths, English, NVR, VR and Creative Writing depending on their exam.
For new students, we give it our all to quickly identify weaknesses and address them through targeted support, perfect their exam technique and loads more, all to still offer excellent preparation for the exams.

Vocabulary & Creative Writing
2 hours
We take students from all backgrounds and with a huge range of starting abilities.
This two hour weekly session enables students to build and refine a varied vocabulary, and refine the unique skill that is Creative Writing.
Tuesday
Test Practice
2 hours
Students complete exam realistic questions to effectively revise all that they've learnt in a realistic setting.
This helps us effectively track their progress, train their speed and accuracy, build exam confidence and enable students to apply their learnt knowledge where it counts.
Wednesday
Homework Help
2 hours
We provide all books and materials needed on the course for free.
We run a 2 hour Homework Help session every week for our students to come and ask any questions they struggled with and receive expert guidance and step-by-step guidance from our tutors.
Thursday
Test Session
2 hours
An excellent opportunity for students to observe experts solve difficult exam questions and learn effective strategies for completing the exam.
Saturday
Main Session
3 hours
Build up skills in all subject areas under the guidance of one of our expert tutors. We follow a carefully crafted syllabus designed to take everyone to an advanced level in each topic.
Multiple assistants are on hand to provide individual help for any student who needs extra support.
Class sizes are small to medium (under 25 students).
